Winter and Spring Discovery Day Programs |
| Discovery Days, the Nature Center's enrichment series for young children, pre-schoolers and students in grades K-3. The cost of each four week session is $40 for members/$50 for nonmembers except for Nature for Little Ones (as noted below). Discounts are extended to families with multiple children attending during the same time period. Register by mail or in person during regular Nature Center hours. ( Please Note: days have changed for some of our traditional programs) |
NATURE FOR LITTLE ONES |
Eight Thursday morning programs for two year olds and a parent (or grandparent) provide the young child with an introduction to the world of nature and deal with seasonal topics. Meets 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Child must be two years old. Register for all eight sessions at a cost of $70 members, $90 nonmembers.

EXPLORING TOGETHER (For 3's & 4's and a parent) |
This series introduces pre-school children to seasonal changes in the natural world and gives parent and child an opportunity to learn together. The cost of each four week session is $40.00 for members, $50.00 for nonmembers. A younger sibling may attend for a $10 discount, no charge for siblings under age 2. Portions of the program are held outdoors, please dress accordingly. The April through June sesions will
meet Friday mornings 10:00-11:00 AM |
PROGRAMS FOR 4 & 5 YEAR OLDS |
Programs for kindergarten students and children in kindergarten readiness programs are held on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:00 AM and afternoons from 1:30 - 2:30 PM. These programs are for children without parental participation. Spring Has Sprung Nesting Time! |
PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1,2,3 |
Enrichment programs for elementary school age youngsters meet Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-5:00 PM. (Please Note: change of day) Life at the Frog Pond The Secret World of Plants
